OH NO!!!!!

Bud is limping!  This seems to always happen right before I plan on going somewhere!

Hopefully it’s just an abcess…I’m going to pack his foot tonight and hopefully i’ll be right.

Next barrel race…

is this weekend…  In Crockett…  Can’t wait! 

Hopefully my parents (having Thanksgiving a week early) will not be too upset that I’ll be gone most of the day.

After the barn BBQ

 We had a family BBQ out at the barn.  The weather was gorgous and we all decided to ride afterwards.  (I know the picture is from early November, but it just got posted the other day…and for some reason, I more times than not, have my eyes closed!)

Their first ride was last Saturday.  I couldn’t believe it.  After about 3 jumps, that was it and Goose looked like a little pleasure horse.

Brenham, birthday, & stuff

Okay, this update is kind of late, but here we go:

Brenham went good.  Bud worked perfect!  I didn’t let Bud really run to the first barrel.  Not because he was acting stupid or anything.  Mainly because the barrels were set a long way down the pen and I’m a chicken.  I really need to learn to just trust him and let him go!  Next Saturday, I’m going back to Brenham.  Hopefully I’ll have a video or picture to post afterwards.

Thursday was my birthday.  Thank you to all my friends for the birthday wishes!  Today I’m going to get to go ice skating for the first time in a LONG time. I will definitely have a video to post after this.

Finally!!!  After 2 months off, I’m going to go to Brenham on Saturday.  It’s going to be the beginning of a buckle series.  It’s been raining constantly, and I haven’t been able to work Bud on the barrels any, so we will see how it goes tomorrow night.

It’s Dress Time!

This weekend we are on the hunt for a wedding dress for Katy, and bridesmaids for us girls!
