18 Days!!!!

Just 18 days until I’m on a plane headed for Juneau!  I’m so excited! 

The itinerary for the trip thus far is: 

Leave DFW 1:50PM April 18th.  Arrive in Juneau at 9:40PM.

April 20, 7:00AM leave on a ferry to Haines, AK… about 4 hours later, leave Haines and start driving to Fairbanks, AK.  We should arrive Fairbanks somewhere around 12:00Midnight.

Start packing up and moving the rest of Katy and Carl’s stuff.  Also hang out with friends.  There might be a wedding to go to on Friday.

We should be back in Juneau on April 27th.

Then I start work on May 4th.  Maybe earlier.  IDK, we’ll see.

So,  before I leave, all my College Station friends need to get together and hang out.  Maybe, we could do dinner at my house?

long over due update

Okay, lets see…where to start?  So much has happened since Christmas.  Katy and Carl got married.  I moved Bud to a new barn.  I’m looking for a new job.  And finally, I can not wait to go back to Juneau!  I miss all those peeps and can’t wait to see them!!!!

Christmas with the Family

I drove to my parents house on Christmas Eve.  We actually got a WHITE CHRISTMAS!!!!!   To make it even better, the snow actually hung around for a few days  🙂

I got my Impact Gel saddle pad!!!!!  Finally!!!!!  After 3 years of being on the list, it can finally come off!

Other news…

Katy’s wedding is less than 2 weeks away now!  It’s crunch time!

Bud is going to get back to work after the new year.  He seems to be doing a lot better so he should be ready to go once things get back to normal (aka no more wedding stuff).

I recently took some photos of Careen’s friend and her family.  The kids were adorable!  What do you think?

The Vet. Always seems to put me in a blah mood.

I took Bud to the vet on Monday.  He has a strained suspensory on his back right leg.  We injected steroids into it, to try to get the inflammation down.  Dr. Honnas wants me to bring him back sometime next week so he can check and see how it looks.

Boot Camp & other things…

I started boot camp on Monday (Nov-30th) with Train With Charlie out of College Station.  Three days a week I get up and work my butt off at 5:00AM!!!  Wednesday was a killer…LOTS of cardio. 

Also, I started tanning on Tuesday.  Getting ready for the wedding is not fun, but at the end of all this, hopefully I will be fit and tan!  I’ve only tanned for two days so far and I’m already a shade darker!

Oh, one more thing…Bud is limping…AGAIN!

OH NO!!!!!

Bud is limping!  This seems to always happen right before I plan on going somewhere!

Hopefully it’s just an abcess…I’m going to pack his foot tonight and hopefully i’ll be right.
